Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Ascend RPG collects, why we use it, who helps us process it, and the choices available to you.

1. Who operates Ascend RPG
Ascend RPG is developed and operated by Dual Force Digital LLC. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to support@dualforcedigital.com.
2. Information we collect
Account and app information
- Email address, authentication identifiers, profile name, app settings, and account ID.
- Game progress, equipment, rewards, purchases, subscription status, and referral activity.
- Support messages and limited security, fraud-prevention, rate-limit, and diagnostic records.
- In-app usage events: when you open a workout plan, see the Ascend Pro offer for a plan or a recipe, or reach the limit of saved custom workouts, the app records which of those it was, the plan or exercise it was about, and when, linked to your account, so we can see which features people use. These events are kept for 180 days and deleted with your account.
- Your date of birth, asked once when you create an account so we can check that you meet our minimum age of 13. We keep the date you entered, and the date you answered, for as long as your account exists.
Fitness, health, and training information
- Daily step counts that you choose to let Ascend read from Health Connect on Android or from Motion & Fitness (Apple Core Motion) on iOS. Ascend reads only the daily step total and never writes to those services.
- Completed workouts, strength activity, running and hybrid-plan settings, pace, weekly mileage, competition date, experience, equipment access, and strength estimates.
- Workout feedback that you choose to provide, including effort, recovery feeling, fatigue, pain, and notes.
- Training journal entries you type by hand: a run's distance and time, a heart-rate zone you pick yourself (a 1–5 label, never a measured heart rate), the kind of a manual workout, and notes. Ascend never reads distance, pace or heart rate from a sensor, Health Connect, Apple Health, or any other health service.
- Sets you log by hand for an exercise (the weight, the reps or time, and whether you finished each set), the custom workouts you save (a name and a list of exercises), and the workout plans you start (the plan, your week, and the sessions you finish with how the main lift felt). They are stored with your account and deleted with it.
- Body measurements you enter by hand: your height and body weight entries with their dates, used to show your weight trend. Ascend never reads weight or height from Health Connect, Apple Health, or any other health service.
Nutrition and food information
- Nutrition goals (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat), foods and meals you track, serving sizes, favorites, saved meals you choose to keep as My Meals, and recent food activity.
- Food search terms and filters submitted for USDA FoodData Central or fatsecret Platform API lookup.
- Barcodes submitted for food lookup. Camera frames used to scan a barcode are processed on your device and are not uploaded by Ascend RPG.
3. How we use information
- Provide account access, personalized plans, workout and nutrition tracking, game progression, subscriptions, and support.
- Protect Ascend RPG against abuse, investigate errors, and maintain service reliability.
- Meet accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations.
5. Retention
Account, training, game, and nutrition records are generally kept while your account is active. Food-provider responses may be cached for up to 24 hours to improve performance and reduce repeat provider requests. Security, rate-limit, and operational records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for reliability and abuse prevention.
After account deletion, limited transaction, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be retained when necessary. Those retained records are de-linked from your active account where feasible; some are pseudonymized rather than fully anonymous.
6. Your choices and rights
- You may change Health Connect access at any time in Android settings, and Motion & Fitness access at any time in iOS Settings.
- You may correct or delete tracked food entries and update plan information in the app.
- You may delete your account in Ascend RPG under Settings → Account & Deletion.
- You may also follow the instructions on our public account-deletion page.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information about your personal data. You may request a copy of your personal data by emailing support from the address on your account; there is no in-app export. We may verify your identity before responding.
7. Security and international processing
We use access controls, encrypted network connections, row-level database security, and other reasonable safeguards. No system is completely secure. Providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
8. Children
Ascend RPG is not directed to children under 13. Every account is asked for a date of birth before the app opens, and an account that does not meet the minimum age is not allowed to continue. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Ascend RPG changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be presented in the app. Contact support@dualforcedigital.com with questions or requests.
